The Quiet Day Service for a Call to Prayer and Self-Denial is a time when United Methodist Women choose to reflect individually or as a unit on "our reason for being -- our mission."
For the first time ever, the 1998 Program Book, The Promised Land, includes the Quiet Day Service. The Service, "Expanding Mission: Helping Others to Cross Over the Jordan," incorporates dramatic readings, reflections, commitments, sharing, singing, and prayers.
Order the 1998 Program Book, "The Promised Land," which includes this service, from the Service Center.
