Women’s Division directors took many other actions during this meeting. Some of the highlights included a quadrennial plan for monitoring institutional racism within the Women’s Division; a grant for the Annual United Methodist Native American Family Camp; 20 scholarships for international students and 66 scholarships for students within the United States; grants for 16 emerging international ministries; and 34 national grants and 19 international grants for the 1996 emphasis of the Call to Prayer and Self-denial, "Alleviating Trauma of Violence." |
