All women can be in mission through United Methodist Women and directors heard about those organized for mission through four new district units. Each has organized in a creative and unique way. For instance, Clemson-Wesley Foundation at Clemson University in South Carolina is the first university unit. The Interchurch Center has just organized a workplace unit at 475 Riverside Drive in New York City. This unit comprises a variety of racial/ethnic groups and denominations. Finally, Steadman Hill Retirement Center and Baysmont Retirement Center, both in the Holston Conference, have organized units. Units organizing this year receive a special certificate commemorating United Methodist Women’s 25-year anniversary.
